🗣It’s time to dive deeper into the new #ENQroadmap! Let's move on to the next point of the sectionLet's move on to the next point of the section "Randomness track. Fair and transparent RNG, frontrun protection for DeFi, GameFi and NFT": - Strong on-chain randomness. ❔Randomness is an essential element in many dApps, such as lotteries, play-to-earn games, and online voting systems. In the world of blockchain technology, achieving strong on-chain randomness is critical for ensuring fair and trustworthy outcomes. To achieve this, a combination of Proof of Stake (PoS), Proof of Activity (PoA), and Proof of Work (PoW) algorithms are used. 🔐Fairness in the validator/publicator selection process is crucial, and having multiple parties with competing economic interests is the best way to achieve this. PoA provides real people who can take part in elections or securing randomness, with sufficient logistical, algorithmic, network, technical, and economical support. While PoS and PoW algorithms still play a significant role in the system, a new "mining" algorithm has been developed that incorporates brute-force password cracking PoW and verifiably delayed functions for PoS control. 💫There is still much work to be done to achieve an optimal balance between economic balance and time frame tuning. The new algorithm needs to be efficient enough to be accessible to dApp developers without requiring expensive hardware, yet not too slow to be uninteresting. Despite the challenges ahead, the team is full of enthusiasm and looking forward to sharing exciting news in the near future.
